Platja d'Aro

Tourist center
The historic center of Castell d’Aro was built around the medieval castle of Benedormiens. This castle was declared in 1996 as an asset of national cultural interest. The medieval-style castle dates back to the 11th century.
We can also visit the nucleus of s'Agaró, dating from the beginning of the 20th century. It was built as an urbanization for the bourgeoisie in a Noucentista style. With a pleasant walk we can enjoy the view of some of the most splendid and luxurious buildings in the area.
In Platja d'Aro we can also visit the Cavall Bernat, a monolithic monument located to the north of the municipality.
