A building where two rivers meet
La Pallissa is a corner building on Carrer del Llobregat in La Pobla de Lillet, right where the river Aritja flows into the Llobregat. Being an end building, with a whole side wall exposed, is precisely what made the mural that now covers it possible.
We bought it in ruins and it is currently being restored. The refurbishment permit was granted by the Governing Board of La Pobla de Lillet Town Council on 5 February 2026, and we expect to open in late 2026.
The Antoni Gaudí mural
In 2026, for the Gaudí Year, La Pobla de Lillet Town Council asked us to give over the façade for a mural dedicated to the architect. We were glad to. The work is by Berguedà artist Slim Safont and covers roughly 10 by 30 metres: Gaudí's portrait and signature alongside his two works in the municipality, the Catllaràs chalet and the Artigas Gardens. It was unveiled on 2 May 2026, as part of the events marking the centenary of the architect's death.
The mural is part of the "Antoni Gaudí i el territori del ciment" trail, a mural route linking La Pobla de Lillet and Castellar de n'Hug, with an audioguide and QR codes in four languages. It stands in Parc Xesco Boix, in the centre of the village, next to the tourist office and visible from the Ripoll road that runs through the town, in a space used for fairs and events throughout the year.
After Barcelona, La Pobla de Lillet is the Catalan town with the most work by Gaudí: the Artigas Gardens and the Catllaràs chalet, whose attribution to Gaudí was confirmed by a study presented in February 2026. The mural adds to that story.

Two apartments, opening late 2026
We are restoring the building into two independent holiday apartments, following the same approach as our other properties: furniture handmade from local timber, and a different look in each one.
Llobregat. On the ground floor, across two levels, with a spacious garden where barbecues will be possible. Planned to sleep up to 8.
Aritja. On the upper floor, with an attic room designed for children. It looks out over the village and, from the window, you are level with Gaudí's eyes in the mural. Planned to sleep up to 8.

Why are they called Llobregat and Aritja?
After the two rivers that meet in front of the building: the Aritja flows into the Llobregat right there.
